Hexagonal two layers-photonics crystal fiber based on surface plasmon resonance with gold coating biosensor easy to fabricate

<span>In this paper, we investigate a hexagonal two-layer photonic crystal fiber based on surface plasmon resonance (HT-PCF-SPR) which is easy to fabricate as sensor for detecting the refractive index of analytes. After performing numerical simulations using COMSOL multiphysics finite element method (FEM), it was found that HT-PCF-SPR could detect analyte's in range 1.34-1.37 RIU and wavelength from 730 nm 810 nm. The plasmonic material used design gold with thickness 40 located outside layer two opposite air holes core. has good performance analytes, sensitivity analytes 2,000 nm/RIU, meaning every 1 shift analyte shifts by 2000 Meanwhile, resolution obtained 6.67×10-5 RIU, larger hole, greater confinement loss value.</span>
